What to know before taking Nasonex?
You should advise your doctor if you have been recently sick or have had an infection before using Nasonex. You also need to inform your doctor if you have conditions such as herpes virus of the eyes; sores in the nose; glaucoma or cataracts; or tuberculosis. You should notice an improvement within two weeks of taking Nasonex. If you do not see an improvement within this time you should speak to your doctor. As Nasonex can lower your immune system, you should avoid coming into contact with people who are sick or who have any infections. If you come into contact with conditions such as measles or chicken pox while using Nasonex, it could be deadly. Nasonex could, like all steroid medication, affect the growth of a child. You should discuss any concerns regarding growth rate in your child. Nasonex should not be used by pregnant women to prevent any harm to the unborn child.
What is the Nasonex dosage?
Your dose of Nasonex will be prescribed for you by your doctor according to your specific needs. Do not take larger doses than what has been prescribed for you. Do not take the medication for longer than the course which your doctor has prescribed. The normal recommended dose of Nasonex is one to two sprays in each nostril once each day. It might be prescribed as a preventative method about two to four weeks before the allergy season begins. You should dispose of the bottle after you have used 120 sprays regardless of whether there is any medication left.
What are the Nasonex interactions?
